Refund policy in case of cancellation
I do ask for a $150 non refundable deposit as I will have had to do a great deal of work on your ceremony prior to the day and can not take any other bookings once you book me for that time.
The remainder of my fee is to be paid at least two weeks prior to the ceremony date, and is completely refundable should you have to cancel for personal reasons such as illness or death of either the bride or the groom.
Fee charged for office paperwork and booking fee is non-refundable. In the case where the wedding is cancelled less than 7 days prior to the wedding date, no refund will apply. In case of serious illness or accident to the bride or groom the client will be offered two months grace to re-organize venues etc. In the event of the sudden death of bride or groom, prior to the ceremony taking place, any fees paid to the celebrant will be refunded to the remaining client. In the very unlikely event where the celebrant does not turn up for the ceremony and fails to arrange another celebrant to take over, a full refund will apply.
